CORPS SECURITY CONTINUES TO ACQUIRE BUSINESS IN AUSTRALIA
Security services specialist acquires Melbourne operation
Corps Security, one of the UK’s and Australia’s premier suppliers of security and support services, has further extended its international reach with the acquisition of The Corps of Commissionaires Australia Ltd (CCAL), based in Melbourne, Victoria. Prior to the acquisition, CCAL had been a standalone business to Corps Security’s operations in the Australasia.
The acquisition was completed on 14th June 2009 and is part of Corps Security’s ongoing strategy to grow operations in the Asia Pacific region. The Victoria business joins the Queensland and Papua New Guinea operations under the leadership of Managing Director Edward Sanders who joined Corps Security’s Executive team in January 2009.
Edward Sanders comments: “We continue to see considerable opportunity for growth in the Asia Pacific region and maintain close links to Corps Security businesses internationally. The integration of the Victoria operation into our expanding Australian portfolio has ensured we can streamline and deliver better service in these two major states while sharing best practice –to the benefit of our customers and commissionaires.”
